702 Communications
702 Communications (www.702com.net), located at 702 Main Avenue in Moorhead, is the network/Internet provider for the residence halls at Concordia College. 702 Communications will be the first contact for helping you with basic connectivity to the network and help with e-mail clients and Web browsers.

Basic Connectivity
The 702 Communications Helpdesk will verify that your port is active and all hardware is installed to allow access to the network.
Your port or connection may be shutdown due to an infected machine, a copyright violation (music, video or software) or other prohibited activity (network scanning, hacking, etc).
Troubleshooting
Supported Applications
702 Communications will be responsible for troubleshooting the following e-mail applications:
- Outlook Express 5 and greater
- Outlook 2000 and greater
- Netscape 4.9 and 7 (but not 6)
- Macintosh Outlook Express 5
- Macintosh Netscape 3 and greater
- Macintosh OSX Mail
702 Communications will be responsible for supporting the following browser applications:
- Internet Explorer 5 and greater
- Netscape 4.9 and 7 (but not 6)
- Mozilla 1.5 and greater or Firefox
- Macintosh Internet Explorer
- Macintosh Safari
Unsupported Hardware
702 Communications will not support student monitors, printers, scanners, game consoles (beyond basic connectivity), or any other hardware not directly involved with connectivity to the ether-network.
Operating Systems
702 Communications will support Windows 98 and greater and Macintosh OS 9 and greater.
702 Communications will not provide support at this time for any distribution of Linux or Unix.
Additional Bandwidth
The free, basic connectivity to the network includes a maximum bandwidth of 256K. If you wish to purchase additional maximum bandwidths, see below.
