Updating AVG Anti-Virus
Right-click on the AVG icon by the clock. Select Check for Updates from the menu.
Click on the Internet button to download and install the updates or click on Folder if you have already downloaded the updates.
If you are updating from the Internet, you may be presented with two options for updates. Priority updates are the definition files only. The recommended update has the virus definition updates as well as other program updates. You should pick the recommended update to ensure the best level of security. If you are not presented with this choice use the priority update.
The updates will now be downloaded and installed. The dialog boxes will close when finished.
