Network Connection with Mac
Mac OS 8.x/9.x.x
Click on Apple menu -> Control Panels -> TCP/IP.
If not already done, set Connect via to Ethernet.
From the Configure list box select Using DHCP Server.
Close the TCP/IP screen.
When prompted, click the Save button.
Restart your computer and you should be connected to the network.

Mac OS X
Click on System Preferences on the Dock.
In the Network & Internet section, click on the Network icon.
From the Configure list box, select Using DHCP.
Click Apply Now.
Close the System Preferences.
Restart your computer and you should be connected to the network.
