Network Connection with Windows
Windows 98/ME
To connect your PC to the campus network, go to the Control Panel.

Double-click on the Network icon.

Select TCP/IP -> YOUR NETWORK CARD and click the Properties button.

Click Obtain an IP address automatically.

Click on the WINS Configuration tab. Select the option to Use DHCP for WINS Resolution.

You should now be able to connect to Concordia's network. You may need to set Internet Explorer to access the Internet through a LAN. Directions can be found here.

Windows 2000/XP
Right-click on the My Network Places icon and select Properties (In Windows XP the My Network Places icon may be in the Start menu).

Right-click on the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties.

Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click the Properties button.

Select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server addresses automatically.

You should now be able to connect to Concordia's network. You may need to set Internet Explorer to access the Internet through a LAN. Directions can be found here.
